Limited Warranty Disclaimer

This Limited Warranty, which is provided by Self Made Solutions LLC (“Self Made Solutions”), extends to you as the original purchaser of auto repair or maintenance services (the “Services”).

This Limited Warranty does not extend to any person who may purchase your car after the Services are performed.

Limited Warranty is subject to the exclusions, limitations and conditions set forth below, Self Made Solutions warrants that the Services will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

This Limited Warranty lasts for 12 months or 12,000 miles of use, whichever comes first, measured from the date the services are provided and the odometer reading shown on the applicable invoice (the “Warranty Period”). Note that any remedial work performed under this Limited Warranty will not restart the Warranty Period.

Some parts provided through Self Made Solutions may carry a separate warranty that either extends beyond or is less than the Warranty Period. In those instances, the term of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply only to the materials, and the workmanship will be subject to the Warranty Period.

If there is a defect in either the materials or workmanship of the Services within the Warranty Period, we will, at our option and at no additional cost to you perform remedial service work and/or replace defective part(s) installed in connection with the Services.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Any damage to your car caused by abnormal use (such as use in a commercial venture), misuse, neglect (such as not performing maintenance services in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual for your car), alteration or tampering, external causes (such as accidents, fire, water and freezing) or by abuse or accident

Any work performed by any technician or other person outside of our establishment and any work performed by you

Any issues unrelated to the Services requested by you

Any pre-existing condition with your car that is not known by the technician prior to starting the Services and that is discovered during or after the Services are performed

Any consequential effects of the Services performed, unrelated to any of the parts replaced being defective or any of the repair work being done incorrectly

Any used parts, unless otherwise specified

This Limited Warranty is entirely void when:

Any parts not ordered through Self Made Solutions are installed or after receiving the Services, you take your car to an alternative shop to diagnose or repair a problem believed to be associated with such Services, without giving Self Made Solutions the first opportunity to inspect and remedy the problem (or to consent to an alternative shop to do so)

Any products or vehicles are used for commercial, racing or off-road purposes

Whether this Limited Warranty does not apply or is otherwise void as to a particular warranty claim shall be in our sole discretion.

You will be charged for one hour of labor fees if a diagnosis is made under this Limited Warranty for an alleged defect determined not to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Services. You must pay for any non-warranty service requested at the same time as any warranty service.
